I lay in my bed afterwords;
Muscles relaxed-
Head light and floaty-
Limbs sore-
Flesh tingling-
How am I not changed?
I thought for sure I'd be someone new.
Yet here I am afterwords-
Fundamentally the same;
The alterations too small to see
