Fall Discontent

Someone take me for a drive through the winding roads
and the cold weather.
Lets explore the forests of the north,
where the mist clings to our skin and hair.
We can lay back when the sun goes down
and count the stars through the tree limbs.
Why can't we just run away for a weekend?
To the place where there is peace in the rain and the wind.

-Illogically Lazy Sunday-

Logically this day was a waste.
A day lost to the void-
The void of laziness and apathy.
But for me
This day was needed.
To recharge and to be uncaring
And to take a break.

Curling up in a ball

Of brightly colored pajamas

And bedding.

Dishes in the sink.
