-Finishing Tasks-
Accomplishment is a heady feeling.
Knowing that, despite the lack of hours,
and the seemingly endless tasks of the day,
you got a lot done.
Just for once your day isn't wasted.
Perhaps this is the beginning of being an adult.
Becoming like my mother
who can get more done before 9am
then I can get done all day.
If only I'm that lucky.
To turn over a newer, healthier leaf
would be so very sweet.
But regardless,
I shouldn't dwell too long,
for tomorrow is a new day, with a new list.
